Agency

My Position on Agency

There have certainly been times in my life where I wish I did not have the agency to choose for myself. I spent a great deal of my life making poor choices. Not saying that the poor choices are gone away, they are still here. Would life be easier with definite rules that lead to happiness that everyone must follow. “The Fall made possible in our lives feelings of both happiness and sadness. We are able to understand peace because we feel turmoil,” Elder Richard G. Scott. I love to be happy, if that means I have to experience sorrow and heartache, it is worth it. I just hope that my agency always leads me back to my Savior Jesus Christ. My prayers are also with my children. I see their strengths and their weaknesses and I know that Satan sees them too. I can only hope that their agency sends them on the path to a better life centered around the Savior.
