My Position on Pornography
How do I feel about pornography? That is a difficult
question to answer on a public forum. But here goes. Satan has a master plan
for everyone, he loves pornography. It is the entrance to the pathway for many
other sins. With technology and modern conveniences Satan has been set free.
Free to entice, free to advertise, free to exploit and free to destroy the
virtue of man. Pornography hurts all parties involved. Satan is not only
hurting the person involved, he is causing chaos within family relationships.
What a powerful tool Satan has at his fingertips. A tool that can deplete the self-esteem
of the user and their spouse simultaneously. A tool that can deplete trust
between a parent and a child. Satan loves pornography which is why we should
avoid it. Prophets have warned us and given us council on avoiding pornography.
If that council is heeded, a lot of heartache and pain can be avoided.

“Pornographic or erotic stories and pictures are worse than
filthy or polluted food. The body has defenses to rid itself of unwholesome
food. With a few fatal exceptions, bad food will only make you sick but do no
permanent harm. In contrast, a person who feasts upon filthy stories or
pornographic or erotic pictures and literature records them in this marvelous
retrieval system we call a brain. The brain won’t vomit back filth.”

sex.”
